She provides trauma-informed, client-centred care to teens and adults from diverse backgrounds, including survivors of gender-based violence, neurodiverse individuals, newcomers, 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, and those navigating life transitions and complex personal challenges.
Raquel’s clinical work is grounded in evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She works with individuals, couples, and families to process emotions, strengthen resilience, interrupt unhelpful patterns, and make empowered choices aligned with personal values.
Committed to equity and cultural responsiveness, Raquel supports clients in creating meaningful and sustainable change. Her areas of practice include depression, anxiety, trauma and PTSD, emotional dysregulation, suicidal ideation, self-harm, abuse, relationship difficulties, chronic illness, disordered eating, grief, and cultural or immigration-related stressors.
Raquel offers a compassionate and collaborative therapeutic space where clients are supported to explore, heal, and grow at their own pace.
