Naiara (she/her) is a dedicated Brazilian-Canadian Registered Psychotherapist and supervisor, bringing over a decade of expertise to her practice. Her journey began with a Master's degree in Psychology from the esteemed Medical University of Sao Jose do Rio Preto (FAMERP) in Brazil. With a rich background spanning hospital, social services, and private practice settings as a Clinical Psychologist, Naiara transitioned her career to Canada, where she continues to make a profound impact in the field.
Specializing in evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Naiara is committed to empowering individuals through effective therapeutic techniques. Her proficiency extends to areas like grief processing and DBT approaches to trauma and eating disorders (DBT-PE and DBT-ED), offering comprehensive support across diverse populations.
Naiara's practice embraces a holistic approach, catering to couples, groups, parents, families, and individuals of all ages. Her authenticity and compassion create a nurturing environment where clients feel valued, understood, and empowered to embark on their journey of healing and self-discovery.
Passionate about social justice and advocacy, Naiara is deeply committed to supporting marginalized communities, particularly the 2SLGBTQ+ community, within a trauma-informed framework embedded in Cognitive-Behavioural principles. Her dedication extends beyond her practice, as she has actively contributed to charitable projects, serving as a volunteer director at the Smiles Foundation and offering her expertise as a volunteer consultant in a suicide prevention program in Brazil.

Whether she's meditating, immersing herself in a good book, engaging in meaningful conversations with friends, or exploring the tranquillity of nature with her spouse and two beloved cats, she embraces each moment with gratitude and mindfulness.
